The importance of the role of the BSCC as bilateral chamber for Serbia and the UK
The post Brexit environment represents a new opportunity for bilateral trade between the U.K. and countries that are not members of EU. For the first time in a generation the U.K will be free to conduct independent negotiations with bilateral trade partners. In such circumstances, the specific bilateral focus of organisations such as BSCC will be more relevant than at any time in recent history, where trade arrangements between the U.K. and other nations have historically been proscribed by collective EU trade arrangements. This presentation will discuss the usefulness of bilateral chambers in this new environment for both investors and their stakeholders using the BSCC as an example.
